When you sign in for the first time, you land on Tala, your AI accountant. Tala opens with a prompt box and a few suggested questions. Ask anything about your books in plain English, or use it to find your way around. See What Tala can do.

Your company is ready to use

Kontala set your company up while you chose your password, including a standard chart of accounts. There is nothing to install or configure before you raise your first invoice.

Good first stops

• Take the tour. A quick tour of Kontala shows what each area of the app does in two minutes.
• Work through the set-up checklist. The set-up checklist for a new company covers company details, accounting dates, VAT, users, and banking, in the right order.
• Coming from another system? Moving to Kontala from another system gives you a practical migration order.
