GDPR and your data rights

Who is responsible for your personal data at Kontala and the rights you have over it under UK GDPR.

Last updated 27 July 2026.

Kontala is operated by Axion London Limited, a UK company. It is the data controller for your personal information and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate.
  • Erase your data (the "right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict or object to how we use it.
  • Port your data to another service.

Some accounting records have to be kept for as long as tax law requires, so erasure cannot always cover everything, but we will always tell you what we can and cannot do.

How to exercise them

Email support@kontala.com from the email address on your account and tell us what you need. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we respond within one month, as UK GDPR requires.

For taking a copy of your data or asking for deletion, see Export or delete your data.

The full detail

What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in full in our privacy notice. If you are ever unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to us first, and you also have the right to complain to the ICO.
